Modern curves and material poetry mark a generational home.
Specifications

The Goal: To create a multigenerational family retreat that balances elevated sensory comfort with striking architectural presence. Every element, from high-performance doors and windows to advanced insulation, ensures control over light, temperature and sound. However, despite the home’s innovation, the design sensibilities exhibit a return to authenticity and the wabi-sabi principles of celebrating imperfection.
The Details: The home’s modern design is defined by its unique sculptural form, featuring curved edges and perforated white bricks on the facade, along with rooftop vegetation. Together, these elements blend functionality with visual drama.
The Materials: Smooth coat stucco, brick and metal accents reinforce the home’s architectural clarity while creating a tactile, modern palette meant to endure as a family legacy.
